Evo 8 Pump gas Stock block BW 363 SX-E Results

*update - working on a vp c16 tune - graph in post below*

Just sharing the results of my setup. This seems to be the most accurate log of all my VD logs with only a 8hp difference between Smoothing 1 and Smoothing 6.

Stock block Evo 8 SSL on 93 octane
Borg Warner S363-sxe in a .63ar T3 housing
HKS 280 Cams
ARP head studs
stock intake manifold
FF exhaust manifold
Tial 44
1100 Hi-Z FIC's
Single Modded Walbro 255lph
Fuel Lab AFPR
SpoolinUp Non-CDI COP
Short route IC Piping
Competition Stage 4 sprung 6 puck clutch
Tephra V7 SD rom
3'' Aluminum exhaust
Fluidampr crank pulley
EGR and Evap delete

Boost set at 31 but holding 30psi for most of the pull until redline.
Torque is going to be brought down a little bit to stay safe
Results are 542whp/418wtq

Tried to keep air fuel somewhat conservative around 11.1- 11.4 for pump. Perhaps that can still use a little work.
I am considering throwing some C16 in it and doing a separate slightly more aggressive tune with a couple more pounds of boost, but I have to say these numbers make me pretty happy on 93.

Those numbers look great and the lag isn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Sick car!

Thanks! May see what she will do on some c16 within a week. Hopefully closer to 600. 👍

Drained out the 93 octane and threw some c16 in it tonight. 4 gallons did not get me as far as I had hoped so I had to cut the tuning a little short until I can grab a few more gallons. The great news is this stuff is always available a mile away from my house...but at $17 a gallon.😆

Anyways this is not a finished product by any means but I wanted to share the progress. As of up to this point we're making 30whp more on just 2 degrees more of peak timing and one more pound of boost (at peak power) on the c16 in comparison. It seems like there is still a bit more to be made with timing advance. I wanted boost to stay at 32-33, however it drops off to 31psi up top. Not quite sure if it is the manual boost controller.
