Im still tweaking some of the VE, so the fuel curve isnt optimal, but I started to get to the point where timing was moderate, and I was impressed with the fullness, and punch of the turbo.

Nice outcome for such minimal mods. PM me with the pricing on the 71HTA I may be interested in upgrading my stocker for one of these..

211Ratsbud Oct 13, 2011 06:29 AM

It's a nice upgrade for sure . I was lookin for a stock turbo nut couldn't beat the price of this mild upgrade . My o2 housing is holding back for sure .. looking for dump and cop..

damn...

confused since the boost looks weird, this is on like 26 peak?

211Ratsbud Oct 13, 2011 12:47 PM

23psi vd ignores my column name and uses map lol

BLK_EvIL Oct 13, 2011 07:51 PM

looks good 93oct or e85?

killerpenguin21 Oct 13, 2011 09:44 PM

looks like the 71 is totally worth the money to me then

211Ratsbud Oct 14, 2011 02:06 AM

93 Oct

one thing i have a problem dialing in, is higher rpm tip in. it seems that no matter what i do i get real lean and knock when cruising at 5500+ and mashing it autocross style. I have mr freds advanced fuel options, and ive adjusted async tps factor, and async rpm adder both a substantial amount. ive also adjusted the VE/fuel maps. It just cant get rich enough fast enough.. Im going to give it a shot again after work with the fuel map again, Maybe I just need my AFR to drop faster? other than that no problems with drivability on my IX with speed density ie hiccups studders etc.

nice numbers, cant wait to put mine on the dyno!

211Ratsbud Oct 18, 2011 08:04 AM

Still a few quirks with my SD tune but its getting there . I expect 340 on stm's dyno when I get it there but time will tell .

BigT Oct 18, 2011 08:45 AM

23psi and over 400whp? That is absolutely nuts. Good numbers.

211Ratsbud Oct 18, 2011 02:32 PM

I have seen ~400 consistently on DJ setting. Since I dont use that normally, but it tends to be what everyone here goes with. Id like to lean it out to about 11.5 solid, and go from there. Im still having a problem where higher rpm tip in doesnt get rich quite as good as it needs to.. How rich would you be at 6000rpm, 5 psi? would you be hitting 11.5ish already if you were at 6000 and mashed it?

JuniorAWD Oct 18, 2011 02:45 PM

Is this the same DubStar112 that had the 06/07 WRX?

That torque curve is awesome.. must be fun on the streets.
