"You may refer no more than 2 new customers within any 30-day period, and no more than 10 customers in any given calendar year"

That sucks...

Absolutely lil'evil_evo! Although crutchfield is an excellent mail order site and research tool(besides manuf. sites), I would never order from them due to their site's rediculous pricing. Why would I pay retail when I could drive 20 minutes in traffic and pick up my goods at wholesale prices the same day. I love livin' in a megapolis, just gots to worry about gettin' my shiznit jacked!

I've done my research. I bought my speakers from Crutchfriend because

1. I had reward points from my credit cards. Each $20 would go for $25 gift card.
2. Second set of speakers for the back was half off. (sale)
3. Free shipping and the additional $20 off for a referal.

All in all I got a good deal out of.

I like crutchfield for certain things. I have to say their customer service and mail ordering is awesome. I've even made a return through them for something I bought thinking i'd need it, only then returned it no questions asked. The return shipping label was pre-packaged into my order to i just have to stick it on and hand it to my mail room.

I agree that the pricing is a bit high, but it's no worse than going to any best buy or circuit city. As a big online vendor I endorse then for their customer service being exceptional.

If you want to save a few bucks and buy something on ebay or someplace else, that's fine too.

ya crutchfield is def good for all their customer service but they are over priced. for people going to best buy and paying high prices they are a good alternative.
