I'm trying to hardwire my passport 8500 x50 to dome light.
Dome light has 2 wires, one soild and one with stripe. I'm using telephone cord line, not the hardwire kit which has black and red wire.
Which wires should be paired?

nm.. decide to go through fuse box since There's no acc wire on the dome light like my previous car which had auto dim mirror.

 

yeah i was going to say there is no switched there.
