I was wondering, does the Full-metallic match the metallic on the center console (shifter surround), or close to it?

Rich the kit looks great, but I was wondering if it would be possible to post installation instructions. It seems as though once this kit is installed the oem equipment won't be able to be used any longer.

If by OEM equipment you're referring to your headunit, the answer is yes. You can most definitely retain your stock headunit with this kit. Also, you can use the OEM EVO RS single-DIN cover or OEM single-DIN Dash Pocket in conjunction with your stock headunit.

The OEM Mitsubishi Gauge Pack will also work, but may require some custom installation to mount it since it does not have any brackets to support itself.

Nice, thank you. I know I said this before but I should be getting my IX REALLY soon, and when I do this is the first thing going in to help remedy the interior .

I was referring to reusing the Oem dash panel and relocating the radio and hvac controls back. From the reviews I have read it seems as though you need to bend or cut mounting brackets so it appears that once installed you would not be able to go back.

300 bucks for a trim piece is a bit steep.

it's actually $300 for two OEM-quality dash bezels, an illustrated instruction manual, and installation accessories.

i guarantee that if you tried to go the fiberglass route, it would cost you nearly double that and it wouldn't come out as stock-looking as this.

i really wish some of you guys knew how much money had to be invested in R&D, engineering, tooling, molding, and of course production to bring a stock-like quality product like this to the market. anyone who has a clue, or who has experience in any kind of engineering, or who simply has any experience in A/V installations, knows very well that for $300 this upgrade package is a huge bargain.

i'll say it one more time. we all spent around $35k for these cars and complained that we didn't get enough quality on the interior to substantiate that price. this product was designed with the intention of doing just that, at a reasonable price. if you're willing to spend $35k on a car, but have a problem with $300 on an interior enhancement that will change the look and feel of your cabin...or are willing to spend $1000+ on a headunit and ICE but don't want to spend $300 to make it look right...that's entirely your business. i'm just happy to have released a product for those Lancer/EVO owners who do care and truly demand the finest, most functional, interior possible.

why do we have to pay tax? i dont live in nj but its trying to charge me 7% sales tax. noone else charges tax when you buy over the internet unless your from the same state . whats the deal with that?

with that aside. does the textured black bezel match the rest of the black texture on the dash? got any good pics of that one? im not too keen on spending another 80.00 on silver paint.
