Will a Full stereo system install run on Mini Battery?

Wondering if anyone is running a full stereo system (ie. amps, subs, separates, etc.) with the mini battery kit? If so, is there a need for ungraded alternators or is the stock one good to go?

Thanks!

Will the stock alt. keep both batteries juiced up? Or did you have to upgrade?

what size amp what size sub ... these all make a difference ...

i'm currently running Kicker KX 6.5 in the front and a L7 8" solobaric, with a Alpine MRV-F 345... with NO issues at all... my lights dont even dim when the sub is turned all the way up...

but that's ONLY bc i'm using since a small amp =/

Gonna be running a few old ones... OG Xtant 1001 and 2 RF Power Series Chrome 50.2s. On top of this, I've also got some old school active x-overs and stuff.... Pulled it all out of my old supra awhile back and thinking to throw it all into the Evo.

Which mini bat do you have? i cant remember who.. StatX or Stinger or who ... but their's a mini Bat that outputs just as much a normal size bat

ill post again tomorrow on who it was when i ask my friend

I just have to ask. Why save weight with a mini battery and add countless pounds of audio gear?

not everyone using a mini bat to lose weight .... most people do it to so they can run shorter intercooler piping

Thx Rcebowl , that's exactly why. I'm getting the genysys mini battery so the UICP & the Oil catch can will fit in the engine bay.

Prolly not gonna fit. Btw, when I had the system in my Supdawg, the juices had to be recharged every once in awhile due to the alternator. You guys sure the Evo Alt is better than the stock Toyota?

Thx again!

Why? They have pipes that fit around the stock battery and the difference is negligible.

The alternator is far more important than the battery. But if you're worried, Relocate with an optima yellow top into the trunk area. This will add engine room without hurting amerage. I would advise upgrading all of your factory grounds and charging system cables to atleast a 4agu.
