has anyone added additional 12v cig lighter power plugs to their cars? i need to plug in both my phone and my sirius..

thinking about a custom plug in the center console so its hidden..

I wired up my sirius to turn on and off with the car? no need to plug it in.....I just cut the car adapter end off the sirius power wire and spliced it into the cigarette lighter wires and it works fine and I have my cig. socket for my cell charger or invertor....

 

there is a universal plug they sell that has the inlet for cig plug and then has a positive and a negative lead on the other side. Its like 10 bucks. then you can splice into the cig lighter harness and you dont have to cut your car adpater
