Does anyone know if the Polk Signature Reference SR6500 components will fit in the front? Some sites say they do fit and others say they don't?

A friend of mine has these in the front and back, they fit fine with a speaker adaptor. You will need an adaptor no matter what 6.5 you choose.

BTW, those speakers are awesome and have fun mounting those crossovers. They are pretty large. What amp are you going to use with these?
