Elemental Design ??

Hey have any of you used eD? A friend turned me onto them but I have never heard the speakers in person. I was thinking about getting an Alpine headunit, connected to my iPod, run eD seperates up front and maybe coax in back, and possibly a sub in the trunk.

The bummer is with a 3" exhaust, my interior sound quality is awful....

I listen to mostly classic rock, but do listen to all genres...

Thoughts / recommendations?? Thanks

elemental makes very good subs and speakers especially for the price.

Do some sound deadening on your car and it should help. It'll weight the car down a bit but with the right material, it won't be too much. Stay away from the dynamat xtreme as it weighs a ton for minimal weight gain.

That's only a part of the story. DE does weigh a bit more than some asphalt-based materials, but those same products would have to be layered multiple times to equal DE's effectiveness.

They are great subs.... My friend has a set of 13.kv2's which were the cheaper version of their subs that are 12 inch and they sound great... he is running a Hifonics Brutus 1000 rms amp.... I recently purchased 2 10 inch subs of the more expensive subs and they sound good. I am running their nine.1 amp for my 2 10 inch subs. the amp does 1200 rms @ 1 ohm

I have a pair of their 12A's. I don't think they make them anymore, but they are very nice.

Its all relative... They arent high end by any means.. I personaly believe you can get more out of a basic alpine system. But, ED is perfectly fine..
