I just tapped 12v constant from my defi control unit to the radio harness 12v constant which i believe is #11. my defi control unit is working. but my radio is not.

is there a fuse on the radio ? what else can i possible check. the multimeter shows a healthy 12.8v comming out of that specific pin to power up the radio.

any thoughts?

when i turn on my interior/headlight lights radio lights go on. cd player doesnt play.

 

I would have wired into #10 which should be your accessory wire. That is how I have my stuff hooked up.. Granted it would only be on when the key is in the right position.

What head unit do you have may need to check their website.
