Just be careful on the mounting location, Sirius tends to cut out pretty often, so the closer outside the car, the better. We've installed countless XM antennaes inside the car near windows that work fine - tried the same with Sirius, but to no avail.

I actually put mine right on top of the 3rd brake light. Gets great reception.

I ran my antenna under the back seat, and have it mounted on the trunk. Its not too tacky or anything.

I've never messed with Evo interior wiring, but have a Sirius radio to install that I'm probably going to put the antennas on the rear deck. What is the best route to run the wiring up to the front?

Take the advise of others, put it on the dash. It will save you time installing and have the same results.

If you absolutely dont want it on the dash, I ran mine down the driver side, under the door sills, then under the rear seat, onto the hinge for the trunk, and finally on the back lid. These 2 guys are right though, it didnt make a difference in the reception quality. IMO it just looked bad sitting on the front.

What I was thinking about the most is the placement of the FM antenna for my radio to pick up, or is there a better way to do that?

Thanks

Thank you, that's very nice.

Where is the best place for the FM antenna? I put my satelite antenna up front where it seems to work well, but I have yet to find a position for the FM that puts out a good signal that is picked up by my radio. I tried having the FM up front, but that didn't work; I got better sound with the antenna unplugged and me holding the receiver.

At the moment the FM is on my rear deck, line of sight with my car's radio antenna, and I'm getting lots of static and the sound quality is unremarkable (it almost sounds monaural). I'm still auditioning FM frequencies, but there's lots of BG noise around here.
