Question AVIC N1 + MP3 Player

Can you just use one of the aux inputs to plug in an Mp3 player of any kind? Just wondering,..any ideas?

Sure you can. Why do you think otherwise or why would you believe you couldnt. Its obvious you'll get sound and no picture unless you have a player with video capability and a 3.5mm audio/video to rca/video out cable.

noTec:: is there any special wire required to just get sound? ...and which input would lend itself as best choice, thnx for the response btw. :-)

i bought a $9 cable from staples that plugs into the "brain".....just the red and white imputs and it plugs into the headphone jack. put the head unit on "av" to get the sound....
