Mitsubishi iPod Adapter Bug

There hasn't been much talk of people's experience with the factory iPod adapter so here's some info and a question. I just installed it and it works well considering the limitations of the interface on the factory radio, except for this issue I'm wondering if other people have encountered.

The default setting is CD numbers correspond to playlists, numbered in the order they are listed on the iPod. To switch between playlists the 5 and 6 are used to decrement and increment, the other numbers have no effect. For me that's working fine for moving between playlists 1 and 4 but as soon as I get to lists 5 and 6 the 5 and 6 keys revert to just selecting lists 5 and 6, you get stuck and can't get back to the first 4 lists without unplugging and plugging the iPod back in.

It seems like a pretty basic defect. I don't know how they could've released it without noticing this but I don't know how it could be something specific to my setup either. Any other users able to switch back from list 5 to list 4?

One other thing I noticed is in the instructions list head unit model MF141490 for the Lancer as compatible but my Evo head unit is model MF141489 and that's not on the list. A weird thing is there are switches to do with configuring for which head unit you have but all the listed models use the same settings.

That's too bad there are a few bugs.. but I am still interested..

Where did you buy yours from? How is the sound quality? Like it should sound since it's not modulated?

What do you press on the factory radio to select the iPod?
