does anybody know if there are any double din trim adapter besides the one orbital sell for a evo IX or if there is anyway that I can do a custom intallation.

 

You can try ordering the japanese/european DD panel but good luck finding it. You will also need to devise your own climate control solution. The jdm and euro h-vac will not work in our cars without extensive work. It is most cost effective and far easier to get an orbital kit. Every week or so, someone will probably be selling one in the for-sale section, so just look out for it. Good luck.
