People running fiberglassed subs

Just wondering if there is any sound difference between MDF enclosures and fiberglass enclosures.

I think it is harder to get the correct cubic feet per sub with fiberglass which might give a little difference in sound. I have a friend who is a installer and all of his fiberglass boxes sound great.

The sub I bought says .8 to 3 cubic feet sealed so I'm not too concerned with it being exact but I was more concerned about it sounding tinny at all. I'm attempting to build make one so I didn't want to take so much time building it and it sound like ***. Besides, the fiberglass is 100% airtight and MDF isn't just because it's wood. Just trying to wonder what to expect. Awesome reply though
