I'm thinking about getting one put in and wanted to know if they are pretty good. Also, can they auto start a manual tranny without buying a bunch or relays and junk? Now I just need to decide if I want the alarm to be the turbo timer or my new Blitz.

 

i installed my 990 a few weeks ago, i also have a blitz turbo timer. the ALarm's turbo timer is kind of weak cuz you have to turn it on manually everytime you leave the car. You can use your blitz timer and you can force arm the alarm but it will disarm when the blitz timer shuts off. that's what i deal with, it's not that big a deal, just wait for a minute and it'll shut off as you walk away and you can rearm it. You have to run relays to make the car think the clutch is being pushed in to start the car. you just hook it up to the ground output signal from the remote start, if the place your getting it installed at knows what they're doing it's cake. btw, you'll only need one relay for the clutch bypass, don't get hustled haha

 

The above post is correct. 1 relay required. I don't mind pressing my remote before I leave the car. If you habitually leave your car in gear, that is not the remote start/alarm for you. But then again , if you ue the TT every time you leave the car, you have nothing to worry about.

 

Yeah, I use my Blitz all the time so I leave it in N. Sounds cool. Thanks for the replies. Now I need to sell some stuff to afford the alarm.
