was just installing sirius radio and was taping a wire into the power of the radio harness, and it sparked and the interior lights, clock, and radio don't work. fuse? what'd i do?

 

it was the fuse(s) in the yellow cage in the engine. why do they have those like that?

 

the yellow caps over the fusus usually indicate that those fuses are in someway linked with the srs system. Im not sure what the proper procedure is to replace the fuses but I just pulled the negative cable on the battery and swapped the fuse with no issues.
