Angry Bad experience with FatMat

Hey guys. Just wanted to post this so ya'll are aware and shop carefully. I've been doing a ton of research to figure out which components to buy for my system. And I'm pretty darn close at this point. I also wanted to get some sound deadening installed in the trunk and doors. I saw some positive reviews on this forum for FatMat. So, I placed an order on 5/30 and they charged my credit card the same day. Haven't heard a damn thing from them since. I've sent emails to their support email account. I've used their "contact us" function on their website. No response. I've called their toll free number and get a voicemail box...which is full. So, I had to file a claim with my credit card company today. It will all get worked out, but damn what a crappy experience

Anyway, I'm looking at getting B-Quiet Ultimate from eBay or maybe the good 'ole Dynamat Extreme. Anyone have any other good suggestions? Want something that works but doesn't weigh too much. That's why I'm leaning towards B-Quiet. Only weights .35 lbs/sq.ft.

Thanks for letting me vent

I'm sorry to hear that. Good luck getting it all resolved, but imo most of the mats perform the same, so if you are concerned about weight, get the lightest stuff!

Agreed...pretty much the same. FatMat is the lightest, but screw those clowns.

I would get some Damplifier from Second Skin Audio. You'll save a lot over Dynamat Extreme and it outperformed DMat or tied it in every category.
