In Dash Nav in lower cubby
I can see that with a pop out single but my double sits back enough and I have it so i can watch movies anytime and its not hard to see at all cause it has a tilt on the screen, either to the side or down you still have to take your eyes off the road to view it... Like i said i have had both i would go single din on the upper cubby and double on the lower, out of the two I like and use the double on the lower so much more.
Man.. remember to post more pictures once you're done ESEVO. So people outside the car (ie cops) can't see your screen when you're driving.. cuz it's so low eh? I think with the orbital kit, everyone can see your screen at nite which attracts alittle too much attention.
Only issue I have with a monitor being there is that 1) your eye is off the road if your using navigation 2) the very slight chance that your hand slips off the shifter into the screen.... I know that you would have to be an idiot but it has happened before. Case and point, a friend of mine who previously had and Evo with a monitor in that location had fist into screen issue. He had just detailed the inside of his car and went for a cruise afterwards. Well he went to shift into 3rd hard ( spirited driving
) and because he cleaned and polished his shift knob ( insert wise cracks here! ) so well, still slick from leather conditioner ( yes I can't help that this could sound like something else) his hand slipped off punching the screen and cracking it in half
. So word of caution with this set up... word to the wise : caution when polishing the knob, can lead burning sensation.....in your wallet!

If I would to leave my hand on the shifter, then the screen would actually crash into my hand.
That's my personal experience, so I always remember to keep my hand off while it's doing the open/close action. Or if i need to shift right away or something, i'll shift by actually holding the shift by it's shaft and pulling down into 2nd and 3rd..w/e.
by the way, the clearance is like less than an inch on my setup. I can probably get away with a finger clearance.
