Headlight Replacement Questions

Well as i was riding down the highway the other day and something flew out of nowhere and damaged my passenger headlight...

Does anyone have any sugestions on how to repair these or aftermarket headlights that could replace these? I have thought about opening them up and removing the ambers and repairing the other cracked pieces with glue....

here are a few pics....

cracked amber ( funny thing is the outer plastic isn't broken)

another close up....

p.s. don't know if this is advanced enough for this forum but I couldn't find anywhere else to post it at....

That's pretty weird that just the Amber piece broke and not the cover. Well you can open it up, go to the how to section and check out black out headlights and it'll tell you. Some member did take off the amber. Good Luck!

the MR version has a blacked out housing with the amber part clear and the actual turn signals amber, while the GSR version is the same idea but has a chrome housing instead of the blacked out one
