Voltage to frequency converter

I need to turn a 0-5 volt source into a 5 volt 0-3000 Hz signal. If anyone can make one or knows how to make one, please let me know!!!!!

Look up Voltage Control Oscillator (VCO).

A VCO works at a much higher frequency then I need. I already got the schematic I need and will be building it shortly. Nothing like a blow through MAF for around $10.00!!!!!!
