i'm troubleshooting my installation of the Viper 791xv on my Evo and i have a couple ?'s. will the door trigger (-) wire still show a 12V reading when the door is closed? is the Keysense wire (-) polarity? i'm pretty sure it is. lastly, my hood pin doesnt seem to be working. it's supposed to set off the alarm when the hood pin is depressed while the alarm is on right? i only have to connect the gray wire to it from the H1 harness right? everything else seems to work fine. the alarm arms properly and disarms properly. the shock sensor works fine (i'll have to adjust the sensitivity), and the front blinkers and tail lights blink when i arm and disarm the alarm. i have yet to test the remote start though. once i complete the install i'll be happy to help anyone else with it.
