I'm thinking of switching back to the stock shifter on my MR2 Spyder from the Fidanza Short Throw Shifter. Since I'm a Mitsubishi guy at heart, I wanted to toss on my Razo Aluminum Shift Ball (came with the car) with an Evo 9 MR 6th gear blockout to help give the appearance my shifter isn't that tall (and no, I'm not thinking of also putting an Evo wing on my MR2 or anything else ricey like that).

From what I can tell, it shouldn't be a problem, as any shift knob will fit any manual car? I just have to lower the leather boot for enough clearance when I'm reassembling it.




Is it possible to order just this part from Mitsubishi, or do you have to order the entire shifter assembly? How much should I expect this piece of 'bling' to cost me?
