Body damage under rear bumper - Help please
Long story short I was backing up and backed right into another car that just popped up. The impact was on my right rear passenger side corner, right above the exhaust.
At first I thought my catback was bent but when I got it on a rack yesterday I noticed it was not he catback but the rear bumper support. The beam that the last exhaust hanger is on right before the bumper is bent in and the metal bumper support is bent down a slight angle.
At the shop (small mechanic/exhaust shop) I had it on the rack at, the said they could anchor the beam and rear support to pull it straight.... Does this sound right or is this something a real body shop should be dealing with?
Ill post some pics later today.
Thx.
