need help please.!!! (electrical lighting)

ok..i just swapped my headlights with a car that is a se and i have a gsr (both evo ix's) when we hooked up the headlights everything was working except the motor to adj the headlights (o-4) for the first time tonight i pulled the car out to go for a spin around town. when i turned the lights on (everything oem from a se model) the lights were pointed to the ground very much.!! so my buddy and i tried to adjust them manually because i dont have the switch to raise them up..and of course they didnt budge.!! now i cant drive at night.!! do i have to have the switch to raise them up? or is there another way to do this without? if anyone can help me with this i would greatly appreciate it.!! i am willing to go to the dealer and get the complete harness as well as the fog harness.!! can i do this? and do they sell them seprate. the car these came from was getting repoed and i couldnt let the lights go with it.!! i got them for basicly nothing. so if anyone knows how, where.what etc... id be more than greatfull...

try unplugging the lights and putting the switch all the way down. when u plug them back in unhook your negative terminal on your battery and turn an interior light on until it goes off. reattach your negative terminal and try it. dont know if it will work but it seems logical.
