Got gunk from door panels on window, HELP!
So while re-installing the door cards on the doors, we didn't realize that some of the gunk/glue/gray stuff from the actual door got onto the area where the window comes up from, now the gluey/sticky/hard to remove gunk is stuck on the inner part of the window.
What can I use to remove this? I tried 2 different window cleaners with no luck. I'd try more aggressive stuff but my window is tinted. I have considered just having that window re-tinted, but are there any cheaper alternatives?
Thanks

happend to me...i hate that ****. use ICE just regular old ice out of the freezer hold it on the gunk, let it freeze a little and it'll come off with ease. then u get a wet paper towel and wipe off the excess

I'll try WD-40 first then the ice method. IF those don't work then I'll prob just have to remove the tint and re-tint the window. I would assume Goo-Gone would be too hardcore for the tint wouldn't it?
Thanks for the suggestions!

HOLY SMOKES!!! The WD-40 did the trick and it was effortless!! I just sprayed some on a soft cloth and ran it across the window and viola! It's gone!
