Converting HID car to non HID

Ok I am putting my evo together and it is a hid car. I bought non HID lights. I have the ballast from my old lights. What do I have to do to get the lights to work. the connector for non HID is smaller then the HID.

HID headlights

I am curious as to why you are wanting to go from a HID headlight to a non-HID headlight? Obviously you have a reason, but I was just wondering why.

The reason I am asking is because I have a non-HID car, and I wanting to convert it to a HID headlight. I know there are HID kits out there, but I am trying to figure out which bulb I am going to use for the new kit. Will my non-HID headlight assembly work if I get the HID kit, and if so which bulb do I need to get for it?

you probably have to get a new connector to match the non-hid lights

The wiring on an HID housing is different from a non-HID I'm sure you know that already. I have a set of wire that I took off of an HID housing if you're interested.

That will work since you said that you have the stock ballast. However the non-HID housing uses a 9006 bulb and the HID housing uses 9005/D2S bulbs. I don't know how you're going to be able to convert that.
