tried "Elect. Grem. from Rain" sticky...didn't solve issues...
I read every post in every one of those links...
The issue was:
1) Parking "Brake" light and "Battery" (symbol) light in dash would both flicker in syncronisation (as if on same wire) intermittently. When they happened to be off, the light for the Parking brake would still operate corrrectly when I would put the p-brake on. Always both would be flickering, never just one of them.
It has gotten to the point that both are on pretty much at all times.
This began about 1 month ago.
2) Now the Dash illumination bulb on the right (behind the fuel and temperature guages) is now out. This happened last night.
I have already pulled the drivers side kick panel off and checked the connectors...they are all in pristine condition. They all still look brand new. (I was hoping to see the green, as this would pinpoint my problem.) I stuck my head under there for about 20 minutes to see if I could find any trace of water or anything else running down those wires from the outside of the car and the wires looked brand new and there was no discoloration on the rubber grommet at the metal or on the wires either. I took off the drivers side inner fenderwell and looked at the harness where it goes into the body. All looked dry there as well.
I worked backwards from those terminal blocks and the only poss. wet spot was (going backwards now from inside) as the harness exited the interior, it ran up along the "roof" of the fender and into this black plastic rectangular tube that is taped together where the wires for the blinker in the fender comes out of the harness. I had someone in the car while this was all taken apart and I was tugging the wire harness back and forth in a effort to get the lights to flicker and no dice.... The wire harness seems to then travel to the front of the wheel well along the "roof" and from there, into the engine bay near the front bumper, not up near the cowl.
I am at a loss, as the symptoms seem to point to this sticky, and seem to be progressing, but I am coming up empty... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

is your car actually acting up or just the dash light?
For example: My car wouldn't start (immobilizer kicked on); car wouldnt shut off, even with key removed; horn sounded randomly and for periods of time, not just a little "honk"; headlights turned on without the switch being turned on.
The dash lights were also lit up, but the car was actually doing crazy stuff.

The dash illuminator bulb and the two warning lights are acting up. Otherwise the car is behaving normally.

So I got it back from mitsu...
Turns out the ecu is programmed to flash those 2 bulbs if there is an Alternator/Generator issue! So there ya have it.
The alternator is apparently overcharging the battery according to the tech.
I have not found a how-to on this site and am going to post a request for one, or see if anyone has tried this in the past.
