idle issues after dash replacement?
so my car was broken into a couple weeks ago and they messed up the center dash and hvac controls when stealing my stereo. did the insurance claim and the car went to the bodyshop to be fixed. they replaced the lower dash, hvac assembly, and all the associated trim pieces. well i go to pick the car up yesterday and on startup it barely fired up. initially it seemed like they messed up the vacuum line going to my boost gauge located on my steering column. i checked all that and everything is good except the wiring for the illumination isnt working. the only way i could get it to idle somewhat properly was to turn the biss screw on the throttlebody about 3 turns out. what further stumps me is it's the worst on cold startup. once warm it seems to fire up fine. no trouble lights and once it is idling properly i've got good vacuum. it almost feels like it's not getting fuel properly. it seems to only be holding about 18-19psi and falling to 16-17 while it used to spike to 21psi and fall to 20-19psi. that again leads me to a vacuum leak but nothing was touched under the hood at all. i'm completely out of ideas and it's going to be a couple days before i can get the car back and make them screw with it which i'm not too keen on either.
