XM/Sirius antena

Does anyone have xm or sirius satelite radio? I'm buying one this weekened. I just wanted to know where you guys installed your antena.

If you search, you'll find that most of us have put it on the little square plastic thing on the dash by the center of the windshield. No problems at all.

I did the under the rear shelf thing with the GPS antenna first. Works very good.

I got signal loss when I tried the same thing with the Sirius antenna so I put it on the roof with a piece of thin 3M foam tape. Also painted the tailpiece and clear coated it. Ran the wire along the crack between vortex generator and roof and down to the boot where the tail light wires enter the car.

Only time I get signal loss is when I go under an overpass.

Not that it's everyones choice, but I like it. It's very clean except for the ton of cables for the head unit control. Did it all myself. I cut a piece of printed circuit board from a surplus place to back where I mounted the components, so it's not flimsy anymore.

i have the XM/Sirius/GPS antenna's all on the rear deck next to the window, never had any problems!

i wired mine ... well i bought it like this.. the antenna was magnetic so its on my trunk ... pretty good spot too looks oem... sometimes i forget about it
