Mini Battery question

Do mini batterys work well with sound systems? I'm not finding anything in searching so far, but as of now I have an amp w/ 2 12's in the trunk w/o a capacitor, definately going to be getting a cap and either going to only 1 12 or 10" for room. Just wondering if mini batterys can support something like that.

Yeah my battery is already relocated to the trunk but the relocation kit that was done by the previous owner is cheap and looks to be only 2 gauge wire with a 100amp fuse and that fuse has blown on me numerous times. One time when I stalled it blew, one time when I was fixing a fuel pump problem and had to crank it alot it blew. So I think my alternative to the mini battery is just running 0 gauge wire with no fuse. What do you guys think? It still has factory fuses from the battery terminals up front I believe.

I ran a 0 gauge wire up to the front. Needed to put a wire distributer block up there.
A large fuse in the back by the battery. Also ran a dedicated ground to the front.
Have since gone to a mini battery, but with the big wire the stock battery was strong.

Mine does fine never drops below 12v in the DAY without lights. At night with lights the volume has to be much much lower. Still a huge improvement over stock, but can't really crank it either.

I'm running 4 Boston Pro60's a JL12W6v2 in a Audio integrations box pushed by a RF 25 to Life amp about 1000W RMS.

Do mini batteries work well w/the stock SSL sub? I'm looking into upgrading my pipes and wanted a mini battery but worried about this as well.

With the factory system I'd think you'd be ok.

So even if I were to get like a 5 farad cap, a 400 watt mono amp & 400 watt 4 channel would overload a mini battery?

Caps are worthless!!! You would see significant dimming at night if those are true RMS numbers.
