Question What gauge wire?

I'm relocating my stock battery to the trunk with a sealed and vented NHRA legal box. Since I'm totally helpless when it comes to electronics, I wanted to know what gauge wire I should buy to run from the engine bay to the trunk. Any suggestions on what to buy and where?
Thanks

most battery relocation kits come with 2 gauge wire.

The kit didn't come with any wiring. I'm just wondering what is best as far as safety and reliability goes. I will be adding an inline fuse as well.

2 gauge or 4 gauge should work, 2 gauge will give you bigger "throughput", but will be considerable heavier and harder to install.
