I am trying to troubleshoot the HIDs not adjusting with the level knob. the lights work fine, and visually checking all of the connections everything seems to be plugged in properly. (I bought this evo used recently).

I took out the dial switch and tested it according to the mitsu shop manual, and am not getting the readings the documentation says. I am a little iffy on the test itself, because the diagrams don't match up exactly with what I have in my hand.

Has anyone had any experience with this switch failing or the HIDs simply not adjusting anymore. I checked for fuses and couldn't find anything not working.

Any ideas or comments appreciated.

Looking for some help from anyone. I tested the switch, by taking it apart and testing each resistor. Everything seems to be in working order.

I would like to illiminate the possibility that its the switch for sure though. Would anyone be interested in letting me plug in their evo 9MR HID leveling switch for a minute. if it works then I know I need a new switch. if it has no impact I now need to try to find out where the wire harness may be torn.
