Help with accessory power wire color under steering column?

Anyone know what color it is? I want to hook up a switch for oil cooler fan and an auxillary fan and would like to wire the switch up on the dash and tap accessory power?

Thanks!

Evoixmr, an add a circuit fuse is a fuse that has a wire connected to it, so all you do is put the fuse into the fuse box and connect the wire to the other wire, (aka solder together), you can purchase this at a local radio shack. There should be a acc. spot use that, should be a 10amp.

pm me if you have anymore questions.

Interesting....Can I run 2 fans off that 10 amp location? I think the perma-cool aux engine fan I ordered from summit will draw 8.5 AMPS and the oil cooler fan may draw about the same...I dunno if that 10 AMP location is enough?

Let me explain - I would use other locations like stereo etc - but my car is stripped and the wiring harness has been modified extensively. All stereo, power options, ABS, SRS, sunroof wiring etc has been removed since its basically a track/auto-x car.

I have my gauges, wideband, shift light etc all running off ECU power and ground off the engine harness. I wanted to run off ACC so when I am in the pits or sitting to make a run, I can run these fans to cool the radiator/oil cooler.

This winter I will build a tranny cooler and run a fan to it as well.

Ok, I found this:

Says - IGNITION 1 is a BLACK/WHITE (+) on the IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS. Can I add a fuse to it?

thanks, I will tap 2 leads - run a 15 amp fuse to each and then to the switches. Do I need a wired ground or just a chassis ground?
