Dog chewed my arm rest
So long story short I think my pup got a little bored one day while we where comming cross country last week, he ripped up a corner or the passanger side rear armrest and scratched up a little 2x2 inch section of the plastic below it. I was pretty pissed, but I'm more worried about how to repair it. It's been a rough week for my Evo, and it's really getting depressing. I would post pics but the cam is still packed in one of my million boxes and probably has a dead battery. As soon as I find it I will post pics.
Otherwise, anyone know how best to find a stock arm rest section either from mitsu or a vendor, and a possible price to expect if it comes down to just replacing it.
Thanks for any input guys!

I didn't think to check the part out section, thanks.
I really didn't want to try the dealership, over 1000.00 for ONE BBS rim, ugh.
And the dog wasn't roaming in my car, I was in the middle of a 3300 mile cross country move from WA to MA, hence why he was laying down in the back seat.
Plus, it's a car, it's highest purpose in life is to transport me and my belongs/friends/family/wife/dog where ever it may be that we need to go. It's not a Bugatti. Hell, if I had a Bugatti I would still do exactly as I do now; drive it like I stole it and use it to transport all of the above.

reminds me of the thread somewhere else online of the guy's who's dog crapped all over his entire interior.
and yeah, the armrest cover piece is $120+
part out section/a junkyard is your best bet.

I'd check a car that's been totalled. Junkyards will usually GIVE those kind of things away as they'll never have someone come in for them. Don't the other model lancers have the same armrest? You tell them EVO and they bash you in pricing but I'm sure if you tell them ES or something, you'll get it for nothing.
Thats one of the funniest things I've seen today!
I know what you mean, I have a hard enough time driving my daughter in mine in fear she gets something on it. Kids attract dirt no matter how much you clean them up.
she doesn't understand that the evo is like my child.....its really hurting the relationship....but back to the point....ive got the tyrant cf arm rest cover....its really nice
