so i gutted my back interior and found out that my sub (ssl) wasnt even hooked up and the exhaust sounds nasty when i get on it

i also installed my 4 point harnesses and took out the stock seatbelts and have a SRS light now i geuss from the little clip i had to unplugg does anyone a way around it or a ruse that will work and still deploy the airbags? thanks alot

WOW, you "gutted" the back seat. That saved you a whole 10 pounds.

You got rid of your seat belts and replaced them with harnesses? Please tell me this car isnt driven on the street.

Yes, in case you hadn't read, he did it because he didn't want people in the back of his car.

Well, sometimes people aren't good at confronting people like that. So stripping the interior in order to avoid that would be the next "logical" reason. Also, weight reduction ftw. Anything to gain that .03 of a sec.

This won't stop people from trying to bum rides, my STi was fully caged and people still climed in the back through the cage if they needed a ride

You should really be running a roll cage if you're going to install 4 pt harnesses.

In the event of a roll over you could be injured much more than with a standard seat belt because you are permanently in the upright position with the harnesses.

ha that's what my back looks like! none of my friends understand why i did this to mine. all those a-holes did was ask me for rides and now i'm like tough break. Now do the trunk! we'll see how long i can drive around without the back seats before i finally break and put them back in
