In-Car PC Installs????

Post up pics and install notes if you have one!

It would be nice to have it on-hand for logging (and flashing), let alone all the other functions it can provide!

The biggest *****/drawback I'm hearing so far is sound quality. I can't say I had committed myself to doing w/o the standard head unit. But, I guess, when it comes to having room, there just won't be any, so it needs to be considered...

I've had a CarPC for a couple years now. I made a thread with a few pics way back then...I'll see if I can find it.

I have used it a lot of logging/tuning and GPS. I have never really had enough time to customize the front-end I am running (RoadRunner) and was actually thinking about upgrading it soon, since now at this time, it's pretty out of date.

If you really want to see a bunch of installs and get the latest information, just go to mp3car.com.

EDIT: Here is the thread where I posted pics...I guess I have had this even longer than I thought. I did this back in 2005.
