So I am interested in moving my gauges up top, and the radio down below. The bezel the cluster is in, appears to be the same as the relocation kit I am seeing for sale online. Do I really need the relocation kit, or is that just for models that do not have the gauge bezel?

It's for models that don't have gauges. You don't need to buy one.
