My flip out doesn't hit in the bottom gears or neutral when it flips out.

EDIT: Pictures
EDIT x2: Moved from private server to public. Sorry for the mistake, I tend to forget these things sometimes

here is mine been installed for months now. its a very very expensive eclipse unit(3500 when it hit the market). the screen is flip and fully adjustable so i can have it open anyway i like. So i could mount it at the bottom and not have it hit the havc if you wanted. enjoy.

p.s this is my first post ever in this section lol. the name of thread caught my eye so i wanted to post

Mute wire is for cell phone input to mute or lower the volume when you receive a phone call. Not too many people use that anymore unless they are running a bluetooth or hardwired connection to their phone.

not sure, i have seen other evos with them mounted where the guages are and no problems, just seems that if you have a movie playin it would be really hard for people to look down and watch,

Screen is 10x better below. Screen on top is advertising you are watching video while driving and get a big fat ticket for it. More stealthy below.

i had a Iphone but it broke, then now i have a nokia, it works great, connects when you turn on the car, and disconnects when car is turned off, i love it, picks up the calls automatically after 3 rings and disconnects when you press it or other person disconnects, its great, good investment.
