Will the stock alarm stop thieves from stealing the car? Or do I need to get an aftermarket alarm?

Evo's dont come with an alarm system at all, just key-less entry and immobilizer. I can almost guarantee you that your evo will get stolen if you don't get a high end car alarm/security system depending on where you live. Trust me, you don't want to skimp on stuff like this. Its a small price to pay for peace of mind.

If someone really wants to they will steal your car, alarm or no. The best thing available is GPS tracking so if it does get taken you can recover it as fast as possible.

 

Buy a baby monitor

I just got the Viper 5701 works good.

Like others said if they want your car their gonna get it, just make it harder for them.
