water issue getting into the intake filter

hi how it going everyone?
I recently brought this carbon fiber hood, there is a vent on the side where the intake filter is. I was wondering if i could minimize or prevent water from getting in to the filter?

is there anyway i can prevent the water from getting in?
is there a part that i can get or any other solution perhaps?

Do you have a cone filter or the stock airbox? I think Buscher and others sell a carbon heat shield that could be flipped around to cover the cone filter

i have a K&N filter, the open cone kind.
