Can anybody help me out truobleshooting my system. I have a 05 SSL. When I bought the car it comes with a Pioneer unit and they bypassed the stock Infinity amp. They run a new wire to the rear speaker and new wire to the amp and spliced to the stock harness. And left the amp unplugged. So to cut the story short I respliced them back and bought the Mitah and Metra adapter and reconnected the amp back.
That's when the whining started. It's not from the speaker but its from the amp. Its coming out of the whole speaker. I tried the noise filter and didn't fix the problem. Can anybody help me out, please? Thanks

 

i had the same problem, but i installed the noise filter and it was gone.. check your ground on the noise filter....

 

I tried it already. I rewired the grounds and installed 2 noise filter but still there.

 

If you hear the whining more when you accelerate, your wires are too close to your fuel pump. woo-WOO
