Wheel help: I think its goes here

Anyway, was curious about a staggered setup, I want to run a 18x10 in the rear and a 18x9 up front. Do I have to run the exact same tire or can I run a a different size up front than the rear. Now I know it still has to be the same diameter so it won't throw off the DIFF. But can I run a 235 up front and a 245 in the rear??

Are you going for performance or looks? IIRC some of the Japanese time attack guys were running staggered but with the wider ones at the front (presumably to counter understeer).
