Gordian you have any info on how to make the Mazda miata battery work? Do i just go to a mazda dealer and pick one up plus the tray? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

I have the kit, I just wait for my car to come back from electro-doctor who will find my electrical leak I hope.

So, I'm interested in all photos you can show, especially where does the positive cable pass from the motorbay and threw interior

Tnahks in advance, this will help me next week end

I don't know if the OP still needs to see pics, but here's mine. I also have the full works trunk cage, and the reason I put the battery on the pass- side is because my car has the ACD pump on the driver's side, so it was impossible to drill/mount on that side.

Nope, JDM 9 RS, it comes like that from the factory, I have the IC spray bottle in the front, where the US spec evo has the acd pump

You have European or Japanese Specs with ACD pump and liquid in the trunk( driver side) and water on the other side

Where did you pass you cables in the cockpit? Under the floor?how?

Thanks

Ok I started with the positive in the engine bay, I routed it around the fusebox, into the fender and then I followed some other cables that go into the cabin through a grommet on the driver's foot well. Once I was in I followed all the side of the car under the door sills, went around the rear seat and into the trunk on the passenger side.
The negative I just used the OEM one I clipped off of the engine bay, and bolted it on the trunk really close to the terminal.

yeas about that much, the hardest part is to pass the + wire through the grommet in the driver's side foot well... I used a 2 gauge wire, anything bigger than that might just be impossible haha, good luck

Yes grommet is actually the rubber in the hole where the cables go into the cabin. 2 gauge wire is the thickness of the cable, the closer to 0 the bigger it is, i.e an 8 gauge wire is going to be much thinner than a 2 gauge. You actually need a thick wire for the positive since it will travel a long distance to the battery, also make sure you use quality cables.
