having issues hooking up remote start

I picked up a Python 872 2-way and I'm having issues getting the remote start to work. it dont even try to crank, the remote just buzz after I hit the starter button. I'm pretty sure all the wires are right, so my biggest question is, do I really need to get a bypass for it to even attempt to start. my plan is to just disable immobilizer.

anyone experienced with these DEI alarms with this issue that will be great.

if the car has an immobilizer, youll need to integrate with it or disable it all together. Also seeing as the car is a standard, have you set the reservation mode (the mode that tells the car your actually in neutral)? you need to do this for a car that is standard.... do you have a clutch bypass hooked up, as it will also not try to start if the "clutch is not pushed in"... also is the hood pin hooked up. if it sees ground it wont do anything either. there are many variables that is making it not start.

Somewhat true... you have to disable the Clutch switch and make sure the car is in Neutral all the time. If not... the car will walk when it tries to start.

Story: One of my buddies had one in, left it in Reverse... tore down the garage door and trashed the bumper and roof.
