Anyone with a evo/sunroof

So my sunroof was acting up and I took it down and fixed it ( bolt came off of the arm that pushes the glass foward ). I looked at it with it tilted up and I feel the glass should be tilted further than it is now. Measuring from the center of the sunroof i measured maybe 1 1/4~. thats including the rubber seal. If anyone could tell me if thats right or not I would appreciate it.

You can adjust how much it tilts, i had the exact same problem with mine. (Sunroof jammed) When i put it back together i loosened the allen key bolts that hold the glass and adjusted it so it was flush with the roof. Never had a problem since then. Might help to take a picture, Maybe i am thinking of something else.

There are two torx bolts on each side of the sunroof that you can see while sitting in the car. To access the passenger side bolts, you have to sit in the drivers seat, and vice versa.

Much easier with two people as one person can sit insie and push up, and the person outside of the car can tell you when you are flush and when to tighten the bolts. They are either T20 or T25. GL.

be careful

i just did this my self and the only other word of advice is to make sure that you have it all squared up or your sunroof will not want to close. you will have to be careful and take your time, but again this shouldn't be too difficult for anyone
