I'm down for it!! I've been looking and looking for the kit and can't find it! Why the **** can't a company get smart and make something customers want!???? So if u know where to get one let me know
This company (Scosche) seems to make dash kits for every car but ours. You should contact them.

I know this is probably the millionth "I am going to sell a relocation kit" thread, but I'm pretty optimistic about this one
How much would you honestly pay for a "bolt in" solution?
I'm working on a product to complete the double din setup (complimenting the JDM panel you can get for very cheap)
this design i have will make it look OEM with a nice innovative touch to it- I can't give details out, but wanted to know how much you would be willing to spend on a climate relocation kit.
I'm hoping to aim at a solution that would cost well under $100 (my target it $60-75) and it would include more than just a panel like orbital does.
thoughts?
Thanks

First, there's no point in offering an imaginary product. If you want something to sell, you need to promote it. Having no pics of it and asking people how much they would pay will get you nowhere. I do understand that showing it might ruin your prototype as many could be able to copy it, but not showing it at all will just give many people false hopes.
I also build an HVAC relocation bezel, and it's basically the same concept as the orbital kit was: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ml#post8634646
My reason for creating that thread was simple... Help anyone interested in this to build his/her own. No pro skills are needed. My first build was done using a broken hacksaw, a file tool and sand paper. Thanks to the couple I sold on 2009, I bought a dremmel and it made the builds a bit easier. The practice of building it got me to find faster ways of building the bezel, and that also allowed me to build more at a time.
Now, instead of people using my thread to build their own bezel, most decided to buy it from me. As of now, and since september (when I started the thread), I've sold 16 bezels, and still have 6 more people waiting. Since I do it alone and by hand, it takes some time for me to build them due to work and other personal issues, but the fact is that they're selling. I posted the complete process, pictures of the finished product, and even how much I was asking for. I provide all the info necessary, and they decide whether to build it, or just buy it from me. No false hopes, no "how much would you pay", or anything like that. I established my costs, and how much I wanted to earn. If people want to buy it, cool, if not, there's the thread for them to build their own.
Another thing is that I don't ask for group buys or payment upfront. Why? I'd rather have people waiting for me to finish without the pressure of having paid. I for one hate to pay for something and then wait weeks for it to arrive. In case the person backs down, I just go to the next one on the list, or just post the part on eBay at the same price. They always sell. Browse Google... There are many threads about this, and many people looking for the same thing.
A word of advice... Build your prototype, but do it for yourself and forget about trying to sell it. Once you have it done, fully tested and installed, post some pics and analize people's reactions. Be sure to fully understand your costs, including man hours, and then set a price. If it's as cheap as you say, and its looks are appealing, it will sell by itself. If it's not as appealing as you thought, then all you could have lost is what you spent for building just one piece, instead of many.
In conclusion, people need to see pics...
