alright well I had another thread about removing the sub itself but now Im wondering about a way to open it up so i can get the full length of the red and black wiring or if I should just cut what is visible (a few inches) and get separate wiring. If you do have a way of opening it please include the size of the tools because last time thats what helped because i had it off by 1/16th of an inch

 

i took the speaker out using a torx driver, then i took out the rubber grommet holding the wiring- pulled the wiring out, push through new wiring then silicone the wiring and the grommet back into the box.
