How difficult would it be to remove the "sunroof" roof, to replace it with a CF roof?

From what I have read that you lose substantial weight by doing this, but is it worth it?

 

Here is a website that makes carbon fiber roof plugs for various cars http://www.lighterfaster.com/13194.html , the guy that runs that site is the owner of a composites forum that I frequent. The sunroof glass is easy to take out to put a carbon fiber plug in there but it would take a bit more work to keep the sunroof functional by making mounting brackets.

To replace the whole roof would be something that I do not have any experience with and would more them likely need a roll cage that was very tight to the roof to prevent the roof collapsing in the event of a roll over. AMS makes a full roof http://www.cimotorsports.net/motor-s...shi-evo-8.html
