Window Motor intermittent

Well I searched and wasn't really sure what to search so I tried a couple variations including 'intermittent', 'windows', 'motors', 'switches' and had no luck...

I recently started to have an intermittent issue with opening and closing my windows. Now I know its not just one specific window its all four. When the system isn't working I cannot open or close ANY windows and it'll last about 1-2 minutes without operation then it'll work again. I can't figure out whats causing it, I checked the fuse it looks fine and I cannot see a break in it at all. The car had a new engine harness installed about 20K miles ago due to water-leakage into the engine harness behind the fender and supposedly it was sealed up to prevent any further damage. I was wondering if anyone had any idea as to how to diagnose this, I haven't a clue how our window's operating system works. Whether or not one switch could cause an entire system to fail or if I could still operate the windows if one switch is bad, etc.

Thanks for reading and posting up any suggestions.

EDIT: Well I got it to stop being somewhat intermittent... I got really frustrated last night and smacked the driverside door switches in anger and they work fine now. I'll have to pull switch panel and check for loose connections.
